First release in 1999, Euro coins were on the one side with the same denomination design while on the other side each country had their own. Germany was one the founder of the Union and its design was oak tree(1C, 2C, 5C), the Brandenburg Gate(10C, 20C, 50C) and the Federation Eagle(1E, 2E).
